Ordinary was never an option
Wedding Photographer in Provence
Allowing yourself to embrace the unexpected
You’ve already scrolled through hundreds of wedding photos—beautiful, polished, and yet all so similar. The same golden light, the same poses, the same path walked a thousand times before you… You, who’ve never liked sticking to the planned itinerary—why should your photos follow a predetermined path?
You envision your wedding as a reflection of who you are. Unique. Elegant. Somewhere between adventure and sophistication, surrounded by lavender and olive trees. As a wedding photographer in Provence, I create images you’ve never seen before—because they’ve never been captured: an invitation to explore.
To dare
can change everything
While my classmates were preparing for their end-of-study internships not far from home, I was scrambling to get a visa so I could do mine in Taiwan. There was no way I was going to let this adventure slip by.
What I hadn’t anticipated was that this move would change everything. A longtime friend I’d been seeing for a few weeks joined me in Taipei two months later. Some decisions don’t require a lot of thought. The proof is that he’s my husband today.
I naturally brought this approach—of seeking out what lies beyond the well-trodden path—into my photography. Not to do things differently, but because I don't know how to do it any other way.
To venture off the beaten path, let my gaze explore new horizons, keep an open and artistic mind, and seek out the photo we haven’t yet dared to take—for you and with you. I search for it at every wedding, without holding back. Sometimes there’s only one. But it’s worth everything.
From Germany to Taiwan, these years of travel have also given me a natural fluency in French, English, and German, so that on your wedding day in Provence, language will never be a barrier between your photographer and the emotions filling the room.
So, what's holding you back?
You’ve heard time and again how a wedding is supposed to go, but yours doesn’t have to stick to the usual routine.
A photographer always takes the same kinds of pictures
Some photographers return regularly to the same locations and eventually let habit overshadow their curiosity. I prefer to explore by bringing a fresh perspective to your story and avoiding the same poses or angles. By leaving room for spontaneity, that’s often where the best work emerges.
For great couple photos, you have to skip the cocktail hour
Disappear for a whole hour just because couple photos have to be taken at sunset? Not with me! A few intentional moments spread out throughout the day are enough, and you’ll still have time to share a drink with your loved ones.
If the portfolio is good, the photographer is good
You don’t choose a photographer based solely on their portfolio. Choosing a photographer is, first and foremost, an emotional encounter and a connection that develops. A photographer is there with you during your most intimate moments. Without that sense of rapport, your photos may be technically sound, but they’ll lack soul…
Your wedding as an adventure
You've planned every little detail of this wedding day in Provence. And that's exactly why you can let go.
Because a wedding is a day that kind of slips away from you—and that’s exactly what makes it extraordinary. The tears you didn’t expect, the fit of laughter that comes at the wrong moment, the surprise speech from your parents that makes time stand still.
You’re fully present in every moment as it unfolds: morning coffee with your witnesses, petals floating as you leave the ceremony, confetti bursting on the dance floor, whiskey shared at the end of the evening... And at a prearranged moment, your photographer takes you aside to create an image unlike any you’ve seen before—composed like a painting, exclusively for you.
A well-planned wedding is a day that’s yours to enjoy—and to be surprised by. Experience it to the fullest, right to the very end. Your memories are your photographer’s job.
Your wedding photographer in Provence, from the first cup of coffee to the final chapter
Start of the journey
It all starts with a few lines on the form: your project, your date, and what brought you here. I’ll reply by email within 48 hours, along with a text message to make sure my reply doesn’t end up in your spam folder. We’ll meet for coffee or online—no matter where you are in the world.
We’ll get to know each other, talk about your story, and discuss what you hope to experience on your wedding day. From there, we’ll work together to create a preliminary itinerary. I’ll draw on my experience to help you plan a day that flows naturally—thoughtfully crafted down to the smallest details, but without overwhelming you. I’m not just your photographer; I’m also a partner, a calm presence with a somewhat unpredictable sense of humor.
Before the big day, there are two stops: a photo shoot at a location that holds special meaning for you, to take a breather amid the preparations and get comfortable in front of my camera. And for brides-to-be who want to surprise their groom, a boudoir session can be arranged in complete discretion.
A few days before your wedding, we’ll go over the schedule together so that on the big day, you’ll be relaxed and ready to enjoy the moment. That way, you’ll have only one thing on your mind: enjoying the day.
The Big Day
On the big day, your only goal is to enjoy yourself. Mine is to lead the expedition—well-prepared, yet always ready to veer off the beaten path. Sometimes right in the thick of the action among your loved ones, other times stepping back, invisible, on the lookout. I adapt to the energy of the moment: documentary-style when spontaneity speaks for itself, and hands-on when I spot a light, a composition, or an opportunity that won’t last.
Between the candid moments of connection and the portraits staged like paintings, there’s room for the unexpected. Sometimes I’ll take you aside for ten minutes—not for another pose, but to create something we haven’t tried yet.
As the quiet guardian of the schedule, I make sure the day runs smoothly without ever burdening you with it. Prepared for any situation, you don't have to worry about whether the photos will get taken—they will. All you have to do is enjoy yourself.
What happens next?
Your photos are on their way—but they’re not coming alone. Gallery delivery is a ritual I’ve created to help you relive your day in all its intensity—the moments you missed, the ones you’d forgotten, and the emotions that come flooding back without warning. It’s one more surprise, prepared behind the scenes.
Because your photos deserve better than a hard drive tucked away in a drawer, I'll help you find the perfect home for them: a signature album or a custom presentation for your prints.
But why stop there? Your honeymoon awaits—and with it, the chance for a photo shoot atop the Dolomites, on a catamaran in Greece, or wherever your adventure takes you. As your family grows, I’ll be there to capture every moment: pregnancy, first steps… Your wedding was just the first chapter—there are many more to come that I’ll be happy to capture!
Being your photographer is more than just a service. It’s a connection that lasts, stories that are shared and happily celebrated over a glass of wine, in the joy of being together.
Getting Married in Provence: A World of Possibilities to Explore
Provence is more than just a field of lavender on a postcard. Every corner of this region tells a different story, and that is precisely what makes it such a wonderful place for a wedding.
Marseille and its calanques offer a rugged, rocky landscape where light dances between the white cliffs and the Mediterranean Sea. The Var region’s vineyards stretch across the hillsides, exuding that Provençal elegance that needs no staging. The Vaucluse hides its hilltop villages and dry-stone bastides in the folds of the Luberon, like so many secrets waiting to be discovered.
Whether your wedding takes place at a secluded farmhouse, a castle overlooking the vineyards, or a terrace suspended above the sea… I know these landscapes well, having explored them through my lens, and I know exactly how the light behaves there at every hour of the day.
And if your adventure takes you beyond Provence, I'll be right there with you. A palazzo in Italy, a fjord in Norway, a courtyard in Paris: wherever your story takes you, my camera is ready!
My Promise
If you need to approve every creative decision and feel uncomfortable letting others take the lead, we may not be on the same page.
On the other hand, if you're looking for a caring presence, boundless energy, ideas that are sometimes a little out there, and a fierce desire to create—together with you—an adventure whose contours you never could have imagined, we're going to get along just fine!
The journey begins here, full of adventures and unknown paths, so grab your guidebook and let's find our way.
Fearless, cinematic, and wildly romantic
One last question about your wedding in Provence?
-
Of course! I’m based in Marseille, but I travel regularly throughout Provence and beyond. I’ve photographed weddings in Norway, Germany, Greece… If your project takes me far away, we’ll discuss travel expenses together right from the start so that everything is clear.
-
Yes, and that's not all! After living abroad and in Germany for several years, I am trilingual in French, English, and German.
-
I offer three packages, with a full-day package starting at €3,000. Since every wedding is different, these packages serve as a starting point: we’ll work together to tailor them to your day, your preferences, and your vision.
-
I’m here to help with elopements, intimate weddings, and destination weddings—whether on a mountaintop, in an Italian villa, or in a French château.
-
I work alone for most weddings. For weddings with 120 or more guests, or if your day takes place at multiple locations simultaneously, I bring in a trusted second photographer to ensure we don’t miss a single important moment.
What my couples thought of it…
So, shall we meet up?
