Not all those who wander are lost

Fine-art wedding photographer in Provence

Cécile, photographer, always on the go.

After eight years in Germany, I’m returning to settle down in the region closest to my heart, Provence. In the meantime, Poland, Taiwan, Iceland, Norway, Polynesia, and a good dozen other stops along the way have shaped my perspective. Who knows where the next adventure will take me? Certainly not me, my love for exploration, travel, and nature knows little to no bounds!

My love for photography was born out of a sense of wonder. Captivated by the beauty, richness, and diversity of the world, I took my first camera with me to Iceland on my first solo trip, and it has accompanied me to many destinations since!

Hey, it's me

Where it all began

I photographed my first couple during my honeymoon in Thailand. I met them in Phuket on a catamaran; they were celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary and had planned a special occasion. As they started taking pictures of themselves with their phones, I offered to photograph them with my camera—just like that. The experience made such an impression on me that I decided to pursue it when I got back. What a joy it is to experience this exchange and connection with people in front of the camera! Since then, I’ve been hunting for exceptional lighting and compositions with you!

Why the fern?

To remind myself of how I got into photography, largely through nature photography, but also because of its untamed nature, its wildness, and its resilience. It’s a plant found all over the world that keeps popping up in my own travel photos.

Travel as a source

Traveling is so much more than just a destination: it’s how I breathe, my escape, and my greatest source of inspiration. Every new place is a story just waiting to be discovered, and every culture is a lesson in open-mindedness and understanding. I seek out the unknown, hidden corners, and the unspoiled heart of life beyond my own borders.

The freedom of the open road, the breath of nature, and the warmth of strangers remind me that the world is vast, ever-changing, and full of wonders. Traveling sparks my creativity, shapes my worldview, and deepens my passion for capturing moments that transcend time and space.

Some of my travels

I took my first photos in Iceland. Not just to check a destination off my list, but to understand what light does to a landscape when it refuses to fade away.

Since then, I’ve sailed from island to island in Polynesia, following the rhythm of the ocean; lived in Taipei for six months; traveled through Vietnam; and spent my honeymoon in Thailand. Each time, I’ve followed the same approach: arriving without a preconceived narrative, leaving room for spontaneity. To seek out what guidebooks don’t show. Learning to read a place before photographing it.

That’s the perspective I bring to your wedding day. Whether you’re getting married in Provence, Iceland, or on the other side of the world, I don’t show up with a list of poses. I show up with the curiosity of someone who has learned that the most beautiful images are found where you least expect to look.

South America is waiting for me. And probably your destination too.
