You’re here, and I’m truly happy to see you.

My name is Cécile. I’m a photographer, French, and always on the go. If you ask me where I’m from, be prepared for an answer that’s a bit longer than you might expect. As a teenager, I moved around a lot—enough to feel French through and through, but without belonging to any one region in particular. Today, Provence has adopted me, and I must admit that I love its character. With its old stones warmed by the sun and the air that smells of lavender, it’s hard not to fall in love with it.

Before settling here, I spent over seven years in Germany. Years during which I searched for my place in a career that didn’t really suit me—practical, efficient, but lacking that spark. And then photography reappeared. Not as a sensible career change. More like an obvious choice that had been patiently waiting for me to have the courage to face it head-on.

And so this new chapter begins. Not with a perfectly laid-out plan, but with a fierce desire to create images that matter—yours, the ones you haven’t yet dared to imagine.

I’d like to take this first post to thank my husband, who has followed me on this adventure without a moment’s hesitation. This blog is a little bit his, too.
